Pushpanjali - Acknowledgments

Pushpanjali would not have been the success it was, had it not been for the cooperation and support of several people. The idea of putting together such a show was the brainchild of our long time member and patron of arts and crafts, Mrs. Kamala Sivasubramaniam. She conceived the whole idea and inspired us to put in our best effort. Her support and motivation proved crucial to the success of Pushpanjali.

We are indeed grateful to Shri.R.Venkatesalu Naidu for his individual support and for his courteousness in giving us the venue.

The contributions of Mrs. Indira Venkatasamy and Mrs. Vijayalaksmi Rudrappan cannot be put down in words. From coordinating the entire show, to bringing in the experts from around the state, they monitored every aspect of the programme. Craft Council of Tamilnadu is deeply grateful to them for all their support and work.

Aesthetic appeal was paramount to making Pushpanjali the visual treat that it was. Mrs. Nagaswarnam Lakshminarayanaswamy and Mrs. Renu Sampath made this possible by working out the floor plan and the details of the layout so as to highlight the beauty of each floral arrangement with the help of the lamps, idols and accessories that were brought in for the show.

We are honoured to have with us Dr.Mridhubashini Govindarajan as the Chief Guest, who, in addition to being a reputed gynecologist has an enormous flavour for art and culture.

The members of CCTN came forward with several suggestions and lent us several accessories for the occasion. The organisation thank them for their cooperation and support towards making the occasion a grand success.
